On November 4, Team Heartosaurus will be running in the 2012 ING NYC Marathon. Our Team members are raising money for the American Heart Association. Each of us is running as a heart patient, doctor, nurse, or in honor of someone who is currently facing heart disease or has passed on as a result of it. We are all "Heartosauruses", and chances are, if you're reading this, you are too. I am personally running as a heart patient, for my brother who is on the heart transplant list, and to honor my wife, my surgeon, NY Presbyterian Hospital, and all of the doctors and nurses there. Dr. Allan Stewart, Dr. Nick Morrisey, and Heather Bowdre, are headlining the team and devoted to this cause.
Would you be so kind as to make a tax deductible donation to our cause? We'll make sure to give you recognition for the donation through our various web and press outlets, and it will be greatly appreciated and help us reach our fundraising goal. You will also know when you turn on the TV on November 4 and see marathon coverage, that you are directly linked it, and part of something personal. We'll be thinking of each of you on race day as we set out to complete the marathon, and we'll send you pictures and updates of what you helped us accomplish.
