A Little Strain Slows the Train

I strained my hamstring early in our run tonight.  It slowed me down instantly, but I eased off so I don't think it's going to be a bad pull.  I was able to continue, but we shortened the run.  Cardiovascularly I felt great, and I was still able to finish at a decent pace.  Nicole said it looks slightly bruised which I'm not happy about because the bruising typically gets worse on the second day.  I'm sitting on a bag of ice right now, and I suppose I'll be alternating ice and heat for the next few days.  I hope this doesn't turn into a nagging injury.
